Add Your PayPal Account

VendorPayout can send payments to your Vendors through PayPal Payouts. Connecting your PayPal account to VendorPayout gives you a quick and convenient way of paying your vendors. This is optional and you can continue to pay through your own accounting system such as QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe, or ACH transfers.

This article will guide you through adding your PayPal account to VendorPayout.

Before you Begin

To get started using PayPal Payouts with VendorPayout you will need to have the following:

• A PayPal business account
• Access to PayPal Payouts
• A confirmed identity, email, and bank account linked to your PayPal business account
• Sufficient funds in your PayPal business account
  

Add PayPal to VendorPayout

1. Launch the VendorPayout app and go to Payouts.
   
   
2. Click the Setup PayPal button at the top of the Payouts screen.
   
   
   
3. Open a new web browser tab and log in to your PayPal Business account.
   
   
   
4. Go to Business Tools.
   
   
   
5. Scroll down to the Streamline operations section and click on the API credentials link.
   
   
   
6. Click the Get Started button.
   
   Your PayPal Client ID and Secret are listed on this page.
   
   
   
7. Switch back to VendorPayout. Scroll down to the PayPal API section of the Payouts screen.
   
   1. Copy the Client ID from PayPal and paste it into the Client ID field in VendorPayout.
      
      
   2. Copy the Secret from PayPal and paste it into the Secret Key field in VendorPayout.
      
      
   3. Click Save Live Settings button.
      
      
      

PayPal has been added to VendorPayout. You can now pay your vendors using PayPal Payouts.

PayPal Fees

Using PayPal Payouts incurs a $0.25 fee for each vendor payout transaction. This is a PayPal fee. View all PayPal fees here.

Verify PayPal Payouts is Configured

VendorPayout uses PayPal Payouts to pay your vendors. Check to ensure that PayPal Payouts is configured in your PayPal Business account. Here's how.

1. Log into your PayPal Business account.
2.  Go to Business Tools > Make Payments. Click Payouts and follow the steps to ensure Payouts is configured correctly.
